Classic Banana & Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

The one that started it all creamy oats, sweet banana and rich peanut butter. Five minutes tonight, breakfast sorted by morning.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup plain yoghurt
  • 1 banana half mashed, half sliced
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp honey optional

Method
 

  1. Mash half the banana into a jar and stir in the peanut butter and honey.
  2. Add the oats and chia seeds and mix to combine.
  3. Pour in the milk and yoghurt, stir well, then seal and refrigerate overnight.
  4. In the morning, stir, top with the sliced banana and an extra swirl of peanut butter.

Notes

Use crunchy peanut butter for texture. A South African favourite with Jungle Oats.
