Buttermilk Rusk-Inspired Overnight Oats
The cosy, lightly spiced flavour of a dunked buttermilk rusk turned into a creamy make-ahead jar.
Ingredients
Method
- Stir the oats, chia seeds and cinnamon in a jar.
- Add the milk, buttermilk, yoghurt and honey and mix well.
- Seal and refrigerate overnight.
- Crumble the rusk over the top in the morning for that classic dunk-in-coffee crunch.
Notes
Add the rusk just before eating so it keeps some crunch. A proudly SA breakfast nostalgia jar.
