Green Apple & Cinnamon Light Overnight Oats

Crisp green apple and cinnamon over a light, low-cal base fresh, filling and quick to throw together.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup milk low-fat or plant
  • 1/4 cup plain low-fat yoghurt
  • 1/2 green apple grated
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Stir the oats, chia seeds and cinnamon together in a jar.
  2. Add the milk and yoghurt and mix well.
  3. Fold through most of the grated apple, seal and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Top with the reserved apple and a pinch more cinnamon.

Notes

A smaller oat portion keeps the calories down while the chia and apple keep you full.
