Today I want to introduce you to the recipe that makes people genuinely emotional. It is the most South African overnight oats recipe that exists.

Today I am also going to teach you the master ratio the one formula that makes every overnight oats recipe you will ever make come out perfectly.

One formula. Every recipe. Forever.

½ cup oats + ½ cup liquid + ¼ cup yoghurt = 1 perfect jar

Memorise this. Everything else is just toppings.

This is your foundation. Today’s Rooibos recipe replaces the milk with brewed Rooibos tea same ratio, completely different (and extraordinary) result.

Rooibos + Beta-Glucan: A Powerful SA Combination

Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and rich in antioxidants specifically aspalathin, a compound unique to South African Rooibos that has been shown to support blood sugar regulation and reduce inflammation. When combined with the beta-glucan fibre in oats, you get a breakfast that simultaneously stabilises blood glucose, reduces inflammation, and feeds your gut microbiome. No other breakfast in the world achieves all three with such simple, local, affordable ingredients.
